71st Omakase was founded by 3 men, Fariz who manages the service upfront, Chef Rezka our Savory Head Chef, and Chef Charlie our Pastry Head Chef. 71st uses the Japanese concept of omakase, However, it caters food from all around the world. 71st was named after a street in New York, the food tells their journey, started in New York, Padang, Java, Medan, Japan and lastly Jakarta.

Went there for the first time on my anniversary. Honestly the taste of the food is so so. The only ok dish from the course was the appetizer and the main dish. The dishes in between was not as I expected. But the good side is, the presentation and the staffs are really nice. Price wise, not as expensive as other omakase but it is still quite expensive.Oh, and you can only book via their web and you have to make the payment for the food in advance (online, when you book it). The payment is for the food only, you have to make an additional payment for the drinks on the spot.
